We will explore this subject with a summary of the legend written by the enablers of the RC
The legend in the words of the enablers
The RC promoters call the RC
“A mystery wrapped in an enigma”.
They would meet once a year in The House of the Holy Spirit which houses “Our illustrious Father and Brother CRC.
Their public founding document The Fama Fraternitatis was believed to be written in 1610 and appeared in 1614.
It was a “warning to elite egotism” and warned against “following false prophets” and that a “reformation is necessary”.
That “God had raised up prophets and sages for this purpose”.
They created six rules which they would obey:
1 Heal the sick without charge
2 No special garment should be worn but they should dress accordingly to their location.
3 They would meet once a year in the House of the Holy Spirit
4 Each would seek a worthy successor
5 The letters R.C. should be their seal
6 The fraternity should remain unknown to the world for one hundred years
In speaking of the higher aims of freemasonry honoury 33rd degree Freemason and esoteric writer Manly P Hall wrote in “The Secret teachings of all ages”:
“Here dogma and creed will have no place, the superficial will be removed and only the essential will be preserved. The world will be ruled by its most illumined minds and each will occupy the position for which he is most admirably fitted”.
Much has been written about about The Rosicrucians and much of it is pseudo mystical allegory and conjecture.
Here is how they describe themselves on a website purporting to be The Brotherhood of the Rosy Cross.
The Brotherhood of the Rosy Cross (Brothers and Sisters of the Rosy Cross), also known as the Knights of the Rosy Cross or the Rosie Crucians (Rosicrucians), is an age-old society of hermetic knowledge, alchemical, mystical, theosophical, religious, and spiritual truth.
Its activities include the study of metaphysics, the hidden forces of nature, and extending the limits of human potential; the exploration of the paranormal; the guardianship of ancient mysteries; and the practical application of esoteric knowledge towards helping others as well as improving one’s own state in life.
Through this secret and liberating wisdom, using methods kept secret for centuries, our common goal is the Summum Bonum, the greatest freedom, prosperity, love and happiness that man or woman can know in this life.
Enshrouded in mystery and legend, with roots older than Egypt, the secret fraternity of the Rosicrucian Brotherhood has continued to exist down through the centuries, passing on its age-old knowledge and hidden mysteries to seekers of truth around the globe. The Brotherhood of the Rosy Cross carries on that tradition today.
This is typical of the deliberately flowery, vague and mystical ramblings which accompany anything referring to this organization.
One thing that is true about the Rosicrucians is that they pulled off a brilliant PR coup in establishing themselves as a fraternal group of seekers and illuminated minds who had been mentored by their allegorical and fantasy founder Father RC. The story hints at Lazarus, the son of a widow and the raising of Lazarus from the dead ties directly into Freemasonry.
The fantastical story of the organization is its most brilliant aspect and it has not been bettered since.
They have described themselves as “A mystery wrapped in an enigma”, it couldn’t get more vague than that could it? This is deliberate to hide its true role from all.
The RC were an enigma when their manifesto Fama Fraternitatis was distributed in 1614. The Order called upon those who wished to join to contact the RC at a postal address in Germany. There was no publication of founder members and they were a complete mystery which added to their appeal. Those who were chosen would be contacted through the RC and were bound by secrecy.
This organization presented an outer view of the world but its inner workings or ulterior motives would remain hidden.
In this organization the twelve outer brothers, hide the thirteenth inner secret brother like a set of snooker balls, the thirteenth brother is perfectly hidden by the triangle of twelve.
Like all other Mystery Orders, the Order of the Rose Cross is formed on cosmic lines.
As one needs twelve balls of equal size to cover and hide a thirteenth from view, and twelve signs of the Zodiac envelope our solar system, and twelve half-tones of the musical scale comprise the octave, the Rosicrucian Order is also composed of twelve Brothers and a thirteenth who is Head of the Order and is hidden from the outside world by the twelve.
This could work in any situation from local to global. The twelve could be world leaders or even your local councillors.
To understand the story woven around this organization it is very important to understand the Biblical references in Occult Freemasonry.
The organization sprang up in 1614 and was resurrected in 1909 by Max Heindel
In the freemasonic biblical “management concept”, Heindel presented the RC Order as a place for the workings of higher knowledge, healing and philosophy.
To understand occult freemasonry it is essential to know the management concepts used.

“The Lucifer Spirit Samael united with Eve and begat a semi-divine son, Cain. As he left Eve before the birth of the child, CAIN WAS THE SON OF A WIDOW, AND A SERPENT OF WISDOM”
The Sons of Cain (Fire) or as they like to call themselves the illumined brotherhood (Luciferians) work with the Sons of Seth (Water), their Priestcraft to control the sons of Abel (Water) whom they believe through their manifesto and Biblical interpretations are docile, compliant and follow the self appointed leadership of the Brotherhood of Cain.
The story of Lazarus, raised from the dead holding the Rose which was to become the symbol of the RC is important as he was also Son of a Widow as was Cain. According to the RC, the Rose is a symbol of the alchemical blending of the Fire of Cain and the Water of Abel.
So, there is an assumed elite at the core of the group, in this case they have been initiated through ceremony which binds them through duty and oath to the fraternity.
In lower level freemasonry the punishment for betrayal is to have the tongue cut out or heart ripped from the chest, the threat of being hung from the neck in a public place is also part of the fear and trauma based indoctrination.
The illumined brethren of the RC appear to be rather more advanced than lower level Freemasons or it could be that this also is an illusion
Fama Fraternitatis
The manifesto of the RC, Fama Fraternitatis appeared in 1614 and was believed to be written in around 1610.
It stated that a reformation was necessary and that God had raised up philosophers and sages for that very purpose.
Their mentor was “Our illustrious father and brother RC”
They would meet once in every year in the “House of the Holy Spirit” and plan their future activities.
The legend stated that a person (RC) known as “The Highly illuminated father”, of German birth, noble but poor had formed the secret society of the Rose Cross”.
This is a most contradictory point in that so called “secret” societies, or the ones known to the public obviously are not secret. Real secret societies would of course not be known to the public. As the Freemasons say “We are not a secret society but a society with secrets”.
Father RC had set out on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land (as did The Knights Templar) but his companion, a brother of The Holy Order died at Cyprus and Christian Rosencreutz (Father RC) carried on to Damascus where he stayed due to ill health. (This also sounds like a journey undertaken by The Knights Templar.)
He was just 16 and had heard about a group of Kabbalist mystics in Damcar (a mystical Arabian City). As you may have observed the word mystical is rather overused by this organization.
Father RC was “instructed by the Arabian adepts and translated the book of M into latin.”
He returned to Europe with the book. He had gone from Damcar to Fez and learned how to communicate with nature spirits. He sailed to Spain after two years but after divulging his “rare and intellectual treasures” found only ridicule in Europe.
It is alleged that *Paracelsus had read the book M and become the foremost physician in Europe. Equally he could have became have the foremost surgeon in Europe and then read the book.
* Paracelsus, the byname of Philippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, (born November 11 or December 17, 1493, Einsiedeln, Switzerland—died September 24, 1541, Salzburg, Archbishopric of Salzburg [now in Austria]), German-Swiss physician and alchemist who established the role of chemistry in medicine.
He published Der grossen Wundartzney (Great Surgery Book) in 1536 and a clinical description of syphilis in 1530. Education: Paracelsus, who was known as Theophrastus when he was a boy, was the only son of an impoverished German doctor and chemist.
His mother died when he was very young, and shortly thereafter his father moved to Villach in southern Austria. There Paracelsus attended the Bergschule, founded by the wealthy Fugger family of merchant bankers of Augsburg, where his father taught chemical theory and practice.
Father RC returned to Germany and after five years renewed his struggle for reformation. He called three brethren under oath to preserve his secrets. The four founded The Fraternity of the Rose Cross and prepared its secret cipher language.
They moved into a new building called the House of the Holy Spirit. They recruited four new members so together there were eight, seven were German.
They decided to separate and visit the other countries of the earth. They created six rules which they would obey:
1 Heal the sick without charge and no other dignity or credit
2 No special robe or garment would be worn but they would dress accordingly for their location.
3 They would meet once a year in The House of the Holy Spirit or send an advocate in their place.
4 Each would seek a worthy successor
5 The letters RC should be their seal
6 The fraternity was to remain unknown to the world for one hundred years.
Five of the brothers went to “distant lands”, a year later two of the others went their own way. Father RC stayed alone in the House of the Holy Spirit.
When the first of the Order died in England it was decided that the burial place should be secret. Soon after Father RC prepared his own symbolic tomb.
The Fama Fraternitatis states that non of the living brothers knew of the death of RC or where he as buried.
His body was discovered 120 years after he died in “The House of the Holy Spirit”(where else?) by one of the brothers.
A memorial tablet was found by the brother with the names of the early members etched onto it. It fell from the wall and revealed a door on which was a notice CXX Annos Patebo, meaning “In a 120 years I shall come forth.”
Inside the door was a seven sided vault, each side five feet wide and eight feet high. In the centre of the ceiling was mysterious light (Mysterious eh?). In the centre of the room was a circular altar with engraved brass plates of strange characters. In each of the seven sides was a small door which revealed boxes of books and the “lost arcaneum of the fraternity.”
This sounds like a reference to the Ark of the Covenant. It also resonates with The later Mormons and Joseph Smith discovering brass plates.
* The plates of brass are integral to the story and message of the Book of Mormon. Nephi was instructed by the Spirit to obtain the plates, and the Spirit explained that, in so doing, Nephi would help to preserve a people: “The Lord slayeth the wicked to bring forth his righteous purposes. It is better that one man should perish than that a nation should dwindle and perish in unbelief.”
The whole story of the Mormons is like a cargo cult with its leader being instructed by a spirit called Moroni.
The Angel Moroni (/moʊˈroʊnaɪ/[1]) is an angel stated by Joseph Smith to have visited him on numerous occasions, beginning on September 21, 1823. According to Smith, the angel was the guardian of the golden plates, buried in the hill Cumorah near Smith’s home in western New York; Latter Day Saints believe the plates were the source material for the Book of Mormon.
PS: I have never met anyone in the cult who has any idea where these plates are or what they mean.
However, under the altar was a brass cover under which was the body of Father RC was preserved. In one hand was a mysterious (not again) parchment, the vault was sealed.
The parchment stated:
“In accordance with the will of the father RC, the Fama has been prepared and sent forth to the wise and learned of all Europe in five languages that all may know and understand the secrets of the August Fraternity”
“All of sincere soul who labour for the glory of God are invited to communicate with the brethren and are promised that their appeal should be heard regardless of where they are or how the messages are sent.”
“At the same time those of selfish and ulterior motives are warned that only sorrow”.
and misery will attend any who attempt to discover the fraternity without a clean heart and a pure mind”.
Other theories about the origins of the RC
There are lesser theories about the origins of the Order that it originated in medieval Europe and that Johann Valentin Andre was the founder and it was based on a society formed earlier by Cornelius Agrippa.
Further confusion arises when Francis Bacon is credited with being part or originator of the Order.
* Yohann Valentin Andre: The origins and teachings of the Rosicrucians are described in three anonymously published books that have been attributed to Johann Valentin Andreae (1568–1654), a Lutheran theologian and teacher who wrote the utopian treatise Christianopolis (1619).
The Fama Fraternitatis of the Meritorious Order of the Rosy Cross (1614), The Confession of the Rosicrucian Fraternity (1615), and The Chymical Marriage of Christian Rosenkreuz (1616) which recounts the travels of Christian Rosenkreuz, the putative founder of the group, who is now generally regarded as a fictional character rather than a real person.
* Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa (1486-1535) is the most influential writer of renaissance esoterica. His de occulta philosophia appeared in three books. Written from 1509 to 1510 (he would have been 23 at the time), it circulated widely in manuscript form, and was eventually printed in 1533. It is a “systematic exposition of .Ficinian spiritual magic and Trithemian demonic magic (and) … treatised in practical magic” (I. P. Couliano in Hidden Truths 1987, p. 114).
When the Order was made public in Germany in 1614 two pamphlets, written by the same author, entitled, “Universal and General Reformation of the Whole Wide World,” and the “Fama Fraternitatis; or, Brotherhood of the Laudable Order of the R.C were available with a message to the Governments, nobles, and scientists of Europe.”
“The narrative of Christian Rosenkreuz created a veritable intellectual panic among the learned, and it was a ferment which did not complete its work for several generations.” The Theosophical Society
The follow up to the Fama was “Confessio” in 1615 and “My chemical wedding” in 1616 attributed to Yohann Valentin Andre.
The plot of The Chemical Wedding:
Christian Rosencreutz is invited by a king and queen to a mysterious castle full of magic and wonders, to witness a royal wedding. He and the other invitees undergo a series of trials to prove their purity and righteousness, from being literally weighed by their embodiment of each of the seven deadly sins, to their alchemical prowess and curiosity. The book is divided into seven days (always a telling number).
The most Interesting scenes in the book involve Christian breaking away on his own, exploring the castle’s libraries and rooms. He later finds out that what he’s done is forbidden, and for that he is to be punished. In the end Christian returns home and, and spreads the news of the Rosicrucian brotherhood by writing The Chemical Wedding.
Originally released on the eve of the Thirty Years’ War, The Chemical Wedding in line with the stated aims of the RC promises religious and political harmony, and a rebirth in scientific progress that will “rattle society to its very core.”
The imagination and depth of knowledge of the writers cannot be questiond but the “engima wrapped in a mystery” of the RC has lead to much embellishment and many authors attaching all sorts of philosophical ramblings to the legend of the RC.
There is no doubt that the “brethren” of the RC were gifted intellectuals and were most probably seeking reform and a better world, however the general aims of freemasonry through the ages and the theurgical branches especially tell a rather different and manipulative story.

The Rosicrucian Manifesto of Max Heindel:
MAX HEINDEL 1865 -1919
UNDER INSTRUCTION OF THE ELDER BROTHER
The Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception was published in November, 1909.
Max Heindel, Rosicrucian Initiate and founder of The Rosicrucian Fellowship
Max Heindel was born on July 23, 1865. His father was Francois L. Von Grasshoff, of a noble family connected with the German Court during the time of Prince Bismarck. After emigrating to Copenhagen, Denmark, he met and married a Danish woman, three children being born to them. The oldest of these was Carl Louis Von Grasshoff, who later adopted the pen name of Max Heindel.
At the age of sixteen Max Heindel entered the shipyards of Glasgow, Scotland, where he learned engineering.
For a number of years he was Chief Engineer on a large Cunard Line passenger ship plying between America and Europe.
Between the years 1895 and 1901, he was a consulting engineer in New York City. During this time he married, the marriage being terminated by the death of his wife in 1905. A son and two daughters were born of this marriage.
After going to Los Angeles, California, in 1903, Max Heindel became interested in the study of metaphysics, joining the local branch of the Theosophical Society and serving as its vice-president from 1904-1905.
During this time there began to grow within him an increasingly intense desire to understand the cause of the sorrows and sufferings of humanity and to help alleviate them. He began the study of astrology, which he found to his delight gave him the key by means of which he found he could unlock the mysteries of man’s inner nature.
The events in Max Heindel’s life immediately subsequent to 1905 are given in the following account of the birth of the Rosicrucian Fellowship. Until his transition on January 6, 1919, he was active in doing the pioneer work of launching the Fellowship, including the acquisition of land for the establishment of International Headquarters in Oceanside, California, the building of necessary buildings, publishing of books, etc.
The highly evolved entity that visited Heindel eventually identified himself as an Elder Brother of the Rosicrucian Order, an Order in the inner worlds formed in the year 1313 and having no direct connection to physical organisations which call themselves by this name.
As he afterwards mentions, the Elder Brother gave him information which was concise and logical and beyond anything he was capable of writing. Later, he found out that during a previous visit of the Elder Brother, he was put to a test to determine his worthiness to be messenger of the Western Wisdom Teachings.
He recounts that only then he was given instruction how to reach the etheric Temple of the Rose Cross, near the German/Bohemian border, and how at this Temple he was in direct communication with and under the personal instructions of the Elder Brothers of the Rose Cross.
The Rosicrucian Order is described as being composed of twelve Elder Brothers, gathered around a thirteenth who is the invisible Head. These great Adepts, belonging to human evolution but having already advanced far beyond the cycle of rebirth, are reported as being among those exalted Beings who guide mankind’s evolution.
This summary confirms that the Freemasonic Rosicrucians and Martinists believe that they have power over the Sons of Abel through their control as the Sons of Cain and with the assistance of the sons of Seth, their Priestclass.
In time and through generations, the Sons of Cain became the CRAFTSMEN of the world, skilled in the use of fire and metal. Their ideal was MALE, Hiram Abiff, the Master workman.
The Sons of Seth, on the other hand, became the CHURCHMEN, upholding the FEMININE ideal, the Virgin Mary, and ruling their people by the magic WATER placed at their temple doors.
Various attempts have been made to unite the two streams of humanity and emancipate them from their progenitors, Jehovah and the Lucifer Spirits.
With this end in view the symbolical TEMPLE was built according to the instruction of SOLOMON, the Son of Seth and the Molten Sea was cast by HIRAM ABIFF, the Son of Cain; but the main object was frustrated as we have seen, and the attempt at unification proved abortive.
Moses, the divinely appointed leader of the old dispensation, afterward reborn as Elijah, guided humanity through its ages of infancy, and was finally embodied as John the Baptist, the herald of the new dispensation, the Christian Era. At the same point in time the other actors in the World Drama were also brought to birth that they might serve their brothers.
At the casting of the Molten Sea HIRAM ABIFF had been given the baptism of fire by Cain, which freed him from the LUCIFER SPIRITS; he was also given a new Hammer and a new Word. When the new Era dawned, he was born as Lazarus, the widow’s son of Nain, and raised by the strong grip of the lion’s paw to the rank of Immortals as Christian Rosenkreuz.
SOLOMON, the Son of Seth, was reborn as JESUS. The BAPTISM OF WATER administered by John as representative of Jehovah freed him also. He yielded his body at that moment to the descending Christ Spirit and ranged himself with the new leader.
Religion has been terribly tarnished in the course of time, its pristine purity has long since vanished under the regime of creed, and it is no longer CATHOLIC, that is to say, UNIVERSAL. Sects and “isms” have branched out in one direction and another, but still JESUS from the invisible worlds enfolds in his love all THE SONS OF SETH who will call upon his name BY FAITH, and he will eventually unite the scattered churches in the Kingdom of Christ.
CHRISTIAN ROSENKREUZ was given charge of the Sons of Cain who seek the light of KNOWLEDGE at the sacred fires of the Mystic Shrine. As the creative energy implanted by their divine ancestor Samael caused Cain to work out their own salvation through the fire of tribulation, and fashion for themselves the Golden Wedding Garment, which is the “Open Sesame” to the Invisible World. And though the cleansing blood of Jesus is an absolute necessity to millions of weaker brothers, there can scarcely be any question when we assert that THE MORE MEN AND WOMEN WHO ENGAGE IN MYSTIC MASONRY TO CONSCIOUSLY BUILD THIS TEMPLE OF THE SOUL, THE SOONER WE SHALL SEE THE SECOND ADVENT OF CHRIST, AND THE STRONGER WILL BE THE RACE WHICH HE SHALL RULE BY THE LAW OF LOVE.
So the influence of this branch of “mystical” freemasonry cannot be easily discounted from influence on the world management scheme. The Kabbalistsic and Judaic influence on this management system is paramount to understanding how the world is being shaped and by whom for what end.
The very structure of these organizations lends itself to coordination and secretive plots. The bold intention of those involved in the Great Work to mould the world is well documented. The Grandfather of Freemasonry Albert Pike lays out much of the background in Moral and Dogma, the go to book for The Scottish Rite. (It is stated that Pike was aksed to become involved in the Rose Cross Fraternity but his son apparently wrote back saying his father was in poor health and could not be involved.)
The allegorical Temple of Solomon and the belief in prophecy has driven global policy to the detriment of nations and will continue to do so as long as the hidden hand and its agents of change work on the co ordinated Great Work which appears now to be taking the world into a Totalitarian one world regime.
